Who was the first British woman traffic warden?

Traffic wardens first appeared on central London streets in September 1960.

The first parking ticket was issued to a GP who had parked outside a hotel whilst attending to a patient who was having a heart attack.

Ethel Hall of Dalston, East London was appointed as Traffic Warden Number 74, one of the first female traffic wardens, in the mid-sixties.
